The Timmonsville area is 75 square miles of unappreciated, underdeveloped "GOLD MINE" territory located primarily in Florence County, SC. Some parts of the "Timmonsville area" are located in bordering Darlington County, SC. The town itself is 2.6 sq miles of that.
The purpose of this website is to look back and remember the past while folks are still alive to remember it. We will also talk about the present and also look to the future. Along the way we will try to point out Timmonsville's bright spots as well as bright folks who live here.
