Lance and Chad Shirley want you to know:
Uncle Danny had no life insurance of any kind, and all of the final bills, along with all of the cost of the funeral are adding up fast. To help the family, Shane Brannon of "Apple Annies" fame, will be holding a benefit that will also serve as a celebration of Uncle Danny's  life in the next few weeks to help with all of these final expenses.

This is our way to help the family, we are not rich with money, but we are definitely rich with love. Uncle Danny is the perfect example of simply loving. Everyone out there that knows him, calls him Uncle Danny. His personality, his laugh, and his compassion were all so contagious. Whether you had just met him or you knew him forever, you loved him and he loved you back. In the eyes of all that knew him, he was a gentle soul, he was brother Danny or Uncle Danny. He loved his family, his friends, good music and his Clemson Tigers.

We all are going to miss him terribly.  We believe there will be no better way to honor him and the love he shared for life, family and "friends" than all of us getting together sharing our stories and love for him, celebrating his life and enjoying some great music throughout the day.

Of course any donations of any amount will be so appreciated, and will all go to help defer the final cost of Uncle Danny's passing.  This is a tough time both emotionally and financially. We want Brian, Shannon and Emmy to all be there, so all of you can meet them, and share your favorite Uncle Danny story. This would be our opportunity to show them just how special their dad was, and the impact he had on all of our lives.

This benefit will hopefully lessen the financial burden on them and even lessen the emotional burden on all of us. On behalf of our Entire family, we thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support that you all have shown us. We will lock down the exact date of the event in the next few days. So, friends and family, and to my fellow musicians, if you would like to help out in any way, please, let us know. Thank you all!!!  Chad and Lance Shirley.
